Craftsman Certification Scheme
The DSWA Craftsman Certification Scheme, run in conjunction with Lantra Awards, offers a series of nationally recognised qualifications in dry stone walling at Levels 1 (Initial), 2 (Intermediate) and 3 (Advanced). Full details of the scheme are available in the Craftsman Certification Scheme booklet. An application form should be submitted to the DSWA office at least six weeks ahead of the proposed test day. Payment should accompany the form if paying by cheque or ensure you submit the application form to the office if payment is made via PayPal. Overseas candidates, please ensure you select the Overseas registration fee option when using PayPal, irrespective of the level of test. Please note that with effect from 1 January 2012 the following prices will apply and are shown on the application form:
- Level 1/Initial £100
- Level 2/Intermediate £135
- Level 3/Advanced Part A features (on-site) £120
- Level 3/Advanced Part A features (Off-site) £350
- Level 3/Advanced Part B timed £85
- Masters Part A features (on-site) £170
- Masters Part A features (off-site) £350
- Masters Part B timed £80
- Overseas registration fee £30.
Tests are organised throughout the country via approved test centres and there should be a minimum of six candidates per test day.
