Approved Centre Seminar - 23 May 2012
The theme of the seminar was ‘Improving the quality and experience for dry stone walling training’. We had a number of speakers and sessions and the programme also offered the opportunity to share good practice and ideas around planning, delivery and review of dry stone walling programmes, plus the elements which make a successful Test Day. Jo-Anne Bryan, the Apprenticeship Manager from Lantra, delivered a session on apprenticeships for dry stone walling and facilitated discussions around some of the barriers and opportunities. She also highlighted the proposed plans for developing Apprenticeship Training Associations (ATAs) as part of a feasibility study.
